ALTEC

1970s Altec 15" bi-flex drivers with matching tweeters.  Boxes probably built by John Woodhead who built them to spec for dealers such as George Hawthorn Hi-Fi who sold these against Tannoy HPDs in the era.  (Prices were similar, the Altecs were more sensitive and had a bit more top end but the Tannoys had more extended bass in my memory.) A lot of speaker for the money - especially if you only have a few watts to play with!
