LUXMAN

Some of the most esoteric and interesting Luxman items made in the 1970s and 1980s was sold under the LUXKIT label.  As these were sold in kit form it let them sell items that were aimed at smaller sections of the market than their mass produced items.

This Luxkit A505 pre-amplifier uses all tube circuits but with later developments including keeping path lengths as small as possible for the sensitive phono stage and zero or low NFB design.  Best of all it uses an inbuilt transformer for the MC phono step up - preferable to high gain phono stages as they better load the cartridge and have zero noise.

Fully tested and serviced and in ready to use condition.  Measured performance is as good as tubes can get - typically 0.02% or less THD on line inputs.  Tubes are mostly original supply.

Suitable for 240-100VAC mains - currently configured for our 240VAC mains but it is internally adjustable for anything from 100VAC to 240VAC.
